You should have used the Russian K40y-9s or the Russian kbg's...These are military grade caps that are sold for a fraction of their actual value being surplus not to mention they aren't metallized and are hermetically sealed..The larger auricaps don't sound too bad although I don't care for stranded leads going into a cap due to separation and moisture over time..They do have some paper in oil like qualities tho in their sonic nature which is a good thing.
