Lots of good ones to try---ANY Sylvania 5751 is worth trying be it grey plate or black. Most prefer the earlier 3 mica types. 3 mica GE black or grey plates are worth trying. The Raytheon black plate windmill getter is a great tube. The Tung Sol 5751 is also very good. RCA black plates, both 2 mica and 3 mica have their fans. Try some different ones to see what sounds good in your gear. Enjoy!
