Well, we all have our opinions, and of course system synergy has a big effect, however, I would like to comment on the RCA clear tops. IMO, I find them to be cold and sterile. A year or two ago an inmate ran a poll on "the most overrated tubes". The 12AU7 RCA clear top was the clear "winner", with votes from several inmates. BTW, I share your opinion on the Teles.
