For whatever it's worth, I've found the tone of GTA is a bit better than GTB I've tried. Applies to Sylvania, GE, and RCA's. Even right from the get-go (before break-in), I've found the GTA had a clearer, cleaner tone (esp bass and midrange).

I've always thought the GTA and GTB shared similar electrical specs (except the warm-up properties).
