Those tubes are the latter double mica JAN grey plates. I have no experience with them. How do they sound in your gear?
I dont yet know how to post pictures but if you go to tubemongerlib.com and look in the 5751 album the tubes I like are listed as the Sylvania 5751 Gold Brand three mica grey plate gold pins Sanborn label 1960. Mine are exactly like those (even with the getter and the flashing tilted as shown). Note the third Mica spacer supporting the O getter. The ones I have have steel pins and were made for the armed forces--otherwise identical. The bad news is that these tubes are becoming very hard to find and very expensive if you do find them.
Mechans--is this the tube you find bloated? I should point out that I run Totem Hawks as my speakers--they only have 5.75 inch base driver.
