I have tried the JJ E34L's, the Winged C's, Valve Arts, Shugang (stock in my VAC Avatar,, but right now I'm using the new Tung Sol's which I like very much because of punch they give. Second would be the Valve Arts, a good balance between warm midrange and top and bottom end, the Winged C's had a midrange to die for, but lacked extension, and the JJ's seemed a good all around tube with extension on both ends, but for me it's mainly the midrange. Of course this is my subjective opinion, but the bottom line is try what you can.
