Keeps the prices low. A friend tipped me that this much maligned 6922 was just wonderful in our Raysonic CD 128 CD players. And lo and behold, he was dead right.
On the other hand, I tried four in the CJ linestage I was using at the time and their level of microphonics was seriously awesome. But the same four sound just fine in the Raysonics. Go figure.
