Victor..

Apart from the occasional pops, there are crackles and hiss. I will try to bear this out first and see what happens after a few hours of listening.

Just out of curiosity, what would be a definite sign that I need to change a defective tube? Honestly, I can't tell if some of my tubes are noisy, defective or just expired. It would be easier if it just stopped making that light glow :D
