It boggles the imagination with what some people think they can get away with. If you paid $200 for those tubes, they should work or you should get your money back! Unless, the seller stated in the add that the tubes where in unknown condition and possibly faulty, the implicit understanding is that they are in good working condition when you get them. A seller cannot simply deny responsibility for selling faulty merchandise by saying "all sales final" either. I would complain to Audiogon. If you paid using Paypal you can easily dispute it. If you used a money order you can file fraud charges with the post office.
