I like all the tubes mentioned depending on the circuit..THe Saratox when you buy them in the Groove tubes 6 or 7 rating,perform very well and the 6l6g I use in RCA but I know the new ones are great also.The Genes go without saying and I agree with Dan's assessment about the others being easier on the ears.I have found kt66s by and large to be more dynamic and a little more on the kick you in the pants type sound where the 6L6g is more refined but at a cost of power.

It doesn't matter how you stir
