WINGED CS BLOWING UP

I bought a Cayin a50t last September. I then bought and installed a matched quad of SED Winged C El34s in December from tubesandmore.com. In March one of the Winged Cs started glowing bright orange and making loud popping noises through the speakers. I presumed the tube was a dud and swapped it for another (just under the 3 month warranty).

Now two months later the same thing happened again with another tube. Was I sold a bunch of duds or could there be a problem w/the amp?

I check the bias regularly and keep within recommended range. I notice occasionally the bias may drift outside the range but not too often, and I reset it. If the range is .30-.35 and I set them at .33, should they ever drift out of range? If so, what would cause this?

So my question is, could there be something wrong with the amp that's causing these tubes to blow, or are they faulty tubes?
