Thanks for the replies.
The circuit is a chinese DAC with SRPP. The tube was biased very high with 100 ohm plate and cathode resistors (180V B+). I am guessing over 15 mA.
After the BB took a nose dive I changed the resistors to 330 ohms, I had seen a post where someone else did this. My guess is this should bring it under 10 mA. What do you think ?
Also I just ordered a pair of Amperex PQ 6922 white label from the Herleen Plant. I think they are halo's late 60's.
