I believe that 180º degree belly-up is OK. It's when you put a tube amd on it's side and the tubes horizontal or some other angle other than symmetrically vertical.So it's fine to put an amp 'belly-up', just make sure that the amp is completely flat upside down.
Some rectifier tubes and other power tubes will tell you which pins should align vertically if you decide to operate a tube horizontally, such as early tube amps, Stromberg AR-411, etc.
Consult your friendly tube manual for the details, good to have several different one's.
