I don't know much about this tube, but it is a fad tube among owners of my equipment made by Single Power. I have tried many different driver 12A_7 series tubes (and a host of other dual triodes that are close) and I can't honestly hear much difference except for the gain (I am partly deaf) and I keep going back to VT-231s for their over-all balance and refinement.
