Yes, these are real, first-issue Raytheon 5814s. The plates, the short and rounded evacuation tip, and getter ring configuration all taken together make the positive ID as Raytheon 5814. I'm pretty sure that these tubes had to be made before about 1955, more likely before approx. 1953. By about 1953-1954 the Raytheon-made 5814s were all triple mica construction. There are quite a few variants of Raytheon-made 5814s.
280 is the right manufacturer code, but I've seen this code on tubes branded Raytheon but made by other manufacturers. I've seen this in other cases, too.
Yes, this can be a great-sounding 5814.
