I liked these tubes for the few days I used them. In the system I was using at the time they had a pretty balanced sound with decent bass control and pretty clear mids, although they weren't the last word in body and the upper midrange and treble were a bit edgy. I ended up going with Cryo'd ValveArts for the added warmth and listenability, which were qualities I really needed at the time. In any case, the EH's are definitely worth a try for people not looking for an overtly "tubey" sound.

FWIW, I now use Gold Lion KT88 reissues and I strongly prefer the sound of these to most of the EL34s I've used in my amp. Go figure.
