I use the 800A model, and love it for accuracy and ease of use. I could not really recommend it for matching purposes, except for mutual conductance. It does not provide provisions for measuring cathode current, and so would be inadequate for any kind of power tube matching.

Even with its limitations, it is an excellent tester. I see them regularly in the $300-600 range, the higher range for recently service/calibrated.
