I'm using a pair of Bedini Vintage Classic 100 monoblocs with Spendor S5/e's that have a WAY bigger sound than you'd expect from such small speaks; they easily fill my living room (vaulted celings-LOT OF CUBIC FEET). Gain's never been an issue. Thanks for the info.
