Yes, you can run the 6550A in triode in the Dyna. Keep in mind that in the Ultra-Linear mode the screens are at the plate voltage as well so there is no change. If you want to get picky, the screens are at a slightly higher voltage in Ultra-Linear due to the DC resistance in the primary winding.
