Not my experience at all. The 10B holds it's alignment very well and it's easy on tubes. I've had mine for about 25 years now. "Tough to find"? It's a cold day in hell when there aren't 2 or 3 of them on ebay. Thanks for the Brooks Berdan LTD recommendation but I live in NY and would doubt the alignment would hold up very well after having UPS or some other carrier dropkick it from one end of the country to the other. The tube compliment is:
V1: EC88/6DL4
V2: EC88/6DL4
V3: 6DZ4
V4-V12: 6JK6
V13: 12AX7
V14: 6U8
V15: 12AU7
V16: 12AU7

V18: 12AX7

Yes V22 is a CRT and I'm counting it as a tube.
