Here is the schematic and what you need to know

The Jadis gets it's sound from operating the tubes in ways that most would consider incorrect. For example the load resistor on the cathode followers are way too low. No wonder it sounds like a drunken frenchman. The coupling caps are way bigger than I would care for also. Bottom line here is that if you liked how it sounded before, you are simply going to have to change it back to what it once was. I don't think the power supply would factor into the equation unless the output voltages were changed. But if the tech changed coupling caps and especially the loads on the cathode followers then those changes must be reversed to get your drunken sound back again. Tube rolling isn't going to do it IMHO. The 12au7 should not make much difference unless you use the special CD input. Personally I would not use it as it is heck of a tone control. Oughta makes the world's nastiest CD player sound listenable though.
