I ordered an octet of the Penta Labs KT 88 Solid plates the other day. I'll be using them in my Sonic Frontiers Power 2 and they'll be replacing the Reissue Tung Sol 6550's. I am a big fan of the Tung Sols so we'll see how the Penta stacks up. I also ordered several pairs of NOS 5687's to try out as well. I am getting some of the tung sols with the d getters , Raytheon square getters, O getter Tung Sols and some GE JG 5687wa’s. I’ve been running some RCA’s and the stock Philips thus far but I am eager to try some good NOS 5687’s. We’ll see.
