I've heard a lot of good things about this tube, and I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a couple of NOS pairs. An audio engineer friend of mine said that the Hytrons are every bit as good sonically as the RCA Red Bases, but that they don't command quite the same prices, since they aren't as rare. Any opinions/feedback would be appreciated. TIA.
