Im playing with my EL34 Shuguangs now

I was never an EL34 fan becuase IM an avid 6L6 fan and family like 6550s and such.Anyway tonite I took a quad of brand new made in china el34 shuguangs i have and put them in one of my modded dyna st70s the one with the Mottram vta mods.I will tell you what that is the best el34 I have ever heard bar none outside of the real telefunken el34s.It rivals the siemans I have and the horns and percussions I was listening to tonite were just as real and live as I have ever heard.The detail was tremendous as was the accuracy. I used my martin logan cls2 and then I had gone over and hooked it up to my AR3s which are modded with oil caps in the network and I have the janszen electrostatic midrange tweeters on top. Im going to sell the mullard xf2s I have on ebay now.Im selling my genelex kt66s right now and that metal base mullard gz34 and a pair of tele el84s on ebay under merccougar89. I cannot belive how nice these el34s are.They are dual halo ones tho.
