What type of information are you looking for? The round plate version 6SN7GT/VT-231 were made circa 1942-1945. There are two mica versions, one that is oval and one that is a full round (spanning the diameter of the glass). All have black base and partial black glass. There are many different base prints and a good deal of rebranding. The term "round plates" refers to the cross-section of each plate, which is circular (hence, each plate has a tubular structure). These tubes weren't actually rare, per se, but hunted and used to extinction due to their prized sonic attributes.
