Aside from the JJ previously mentioned, the Russian EL84M (6p14p-eb) is also a good choice. Sadly, until quality control problems across the board are resolved, EI can't be recommended.AA sponsor Triode Electronics carries both the JJ and Russian tubes at attractive prices.
