"I left a Siemens 12AU7 in V3.""Overall, given that my old tubes are unlikely the best around I would rate the JJ's as satisfactory at best."
I looked at the EAR website and the EAR834P uses X3 ECC83 tubes, "No ECC82/12AU7. Report back again when you use the correct tubes.
