Will replacing the 12ax7a's in my Jolida jd100 cdp create a significant improvement or change in sound? The cdp is modded and came with ElectroHarmonix tubes. Can anyone recommend a pair of tubes for under $100 that will work well here? Most important to me is an accurate, open, and natural midrange.
Also, I haven't opened up the player yet. Is replacing the tubes an easy job?
