>>> Following your line of reasoning, all dealer recommendations are sales hype.<<<
No, all dealer recomendations of products they SELL are, if not hype, at least suspect. I am VERY suspect of a dealer or manufacturer who comes on line and waxes poetic(or rambles, depending on your POV) about a product they sell/make.

>>>If a dealer sells Tube A, Tube B, Tube C and Tube D,
and in response to a post seeking help,<<<
Its not uncommon for some dealers to also recomend tube E (or at least mention it)which they don't sell. No single dealer can have the best of everything, sometimes an honest one will recomend another dealer's products.

>>>Furthermore, you never bothered responding to the original poster's question.<<<
Since he wrote this:>>>Amperex, Mullard, GE <<<
I was under the impression he was refering to the 6922s. I don't do much in the way of 9-pin minis any more.No comment of these from you?

>>>As I recall from your Jadis review at Audio Review, you have
owned the Svetlana 6550C, JJ/Tesla KT88, and Yugo EI KT90.<<,
I have posted my opinions of tubes in the Jadis quite a few times-it get tedious after a while. Oh, and regardless of the tubes, it always sounded like a Jadis
Enjoy,
Jack
