I've heard some home brew jobbs that have-actually, its the output tubes that in some systems can sound lean-the JJ/tesla 300Bs are borderline as are Golden Dragons. That of course is just my opinion.
2 more questions
1) Why bother buying an ARC and then swap tubes to try to emulate a C-J? Why not just buy a CJ instead. It kind of defeats the purpose, since most people who buy ARC do so because they like the house sound.
2) Why do you swallow everything he says? Yes, i've read enough of his posts in the past to realize that many or most of them are sales hypes.
So tell me, which SET does he own, and if that "unbiases" him, why doesn't he listen to it instead of the ARC?
