I have a bunch of those too. I keep some of them as I never know when I might want to re-base a tube with a cool white ceramic base.For me, the real ones that hurt are the half-dozen or more globe 10s that have open fils. >:P Of course the several gassy/wacky/weird metal plate western electric 242s and metal plate 845s don't help either. :-/
if anyone wants a nice globe 10 for display, let me know.
