but testing is the basis of matching. Matching requires a lot of samples to get one set right. It is a power tube tester who's specific function is to allow you to get fairly precise in your readings so matching is able to be accomplished, but it really is no different than any other tester in this regard.
It is a specific use box that I wouldn't mind having if I was going to roll a lot of different power tubes.
