HP branded Amperex 6DJ8/ ECC88 tubes - Help!

I just got a pair of these tubes that have the A frame construction. Inside, on top of the A frame is a disc shaped getter that is solid, with small circular ridges on it [sort of UFO looking]!.
On the outer of the tubes are printed 7308 and 7436 white lettering that reads from base to top with Made in Holland clearly visible. I understand Amperex OEM'd tubes to companies such as Hewlett Packard, and it is with the HP logo they are stamped.
I suspect they are mid 70's manufactured and would therefore not be as desirable as earlier Amperexes?
Anyone familiar with this tube?
