I just compared this 5AR4 to photographs of early Dutch Amperex / Phillips. If this is a copy, it's the best copy I've seen in my life. The glass, plate structure, base, base markings, the intriciate little details under the plate are all identical.
I'm having a friend over this weekend who has a couple of real Amperex black-base 5AR4's. I'll ask him to bring 'em over for comparison.
