SET amps have a "special" sound with well fleshed out images, but the ones with the big tubes (211, 845) lose a little of that magic.
Big tubes also produce a lot of heat...
If those Jadis monoblocks are anywhere near the Defy-7 then they should be extremely musical. Consider the better resale value of Jadis equipment, and you got yourself a winner!
