I recently purchased a vt-50 (i know its a different beast)that came with EH kt-88s. the amp sounded weak and thin, lacking any dynamics. Luckily the seller included a set of GE 6550a that I put in. Within 20 minutes the difference was night and day. I am going to bias the tubes this week.P.S. I really want to do a T/S, Ge 6550a and SED "wing c" shoot out. I wish I could find a reasonable set of t/s.
