The input circuit for the VT130 is much simplier than typical Audio Research input circuits, based on the tube count. How they are actually executed I do not know since I have never seen a circuit diagram. But after 25+ years of making tube amps, the circuits amongst all these amps are amazingly similiar. Minor variations on a theme.I have never seen an ARC tube amp circuit that did not use a cathode follower as the driver tube. I would be surprised if this is not the case with the VT130.
