I recently purchased a D115 Mk II in good condition but the tubes have a little age on them. It seems to me there has been some discussion on this board re replacing the 6550s in this amp with KT88s but I don't remember any definitive opinion. It seems like for some reason ARC doesn't believe in using KT88s in the D70 and D115. Can someone refresh my memory or add anything? Thanks.
