What do people think of Electro-harmonix 6922's?

I have a Sunfire vacuum tube preamp, which I really dig. I substituted the stock Sovtek 6922's for Electro-Harmonix ones, and they sound great, but is there a lower noise tube even than this? I did a search here and some people seemed to like Amperex, which are only NOS I assume. Are these a step up?
