There seems to be some debate about the actual degree of break-in that occurs in tubes. Has anyone found that NOS signal tubes, Bugle Boy 6DJ8s, need time to break-in? I found them sort of thick and sluggish out of the box. After about 10 hours, they seem to have opened up. Will they continue to break-in? What are some thoughts on NOS signal tube break-in versus current production tube break-in?
