12AU7 REVIEW - RFT ECC82

Why review? Because I think that it is my personal favorite 12AU7 tube.

I have and tried many of them

1 Telefunken ECC802S
2 Telefunken ECC83 ribbed plate
3 Sylvania GB5963
4 RCA 5963
5 Mullard CV491
6 Mullard CV4004
7 Tungsram ECC82
8 PhilipsECG JAN5814A
9 PhilipsECG JAN6189
10 Philips Miniwatt ECC82
11 Siemens E82CC
12 RCA 12AU7A clear top
13 Valvo ECC82
14 EI ECC82

And after all RFT ECC82. Just like Tungsram ECC83, very musical with great extension at a top and bottom. Silky sweet high, extremly detailed mid but a litle bass shy. See trough, great soundstage wide and deep without any sign of agression.

The second one Telefunken ECC802S. Ok legend, great authority at all. German sound, very controled highs and a bottom end.

The third one ..... I am not sure but maybe Mullard CV4004 or Sylvania GB5963 or Siemens E82CC or even RCA-s.

Lets make a top list of 12AU7
