I've had premium W. German Siemens tubes running in my phono stage for over 5 years. The 6DJ8 class of tubes holds up well in signal applications in the SP-10.VTL power amps, however, drive the tubes at such a high voltage like 100V over the normal spec), and the Russian tubes just self-destruct.
I would suggest better tubes before you accuse ARC of driving them too hard, these new Ruskie tubes just don't hold up.
