You can get these from Antique Electronic Supply for $13/each. Go to their site and do a search on Tesla. They are probably later production (80s or early 90s? They say made in Czechoslovakia.) and they sound fabulous. They easily beat my smooth plate Telefunken ECC83s.

This is the way I would go to try them. Bugleman seems to have a dubious reputation around here.
