Hi, Is it safe to run SS monoblocks or a SS integrated power-amp running parallel alongside my Cary 300B SE monoblocks using Y adapters from my Cary 94L pre amp. The SS would be for driving a REL stata subwoofer. What input impedance for the SS power-amp would be OK.
Or do you think the REL strata sub would sound better run from the 300B SE's. I have in the past run two cheaper rel subs from the 300B SE's with no noticeable power loss. The reason I am thinking SS for the REL is tigter bass. What do you think, Thanks.
