You might want to try a company called CentaSound and look at the clearance of their older line. The Stereo or Integrated might fit your price/performance. I could say that changing the as shipped tubes might significantly improve upon their performance. I have not heard the Stereo or Integrated, but expect the Stereo to perform close to the Monoblocks which I have heard.
