From what I remember these are epic series speakers (always wanted some of these) which I believe was their highend before the legend/reference series. You may want to post over on the klipsch website. I have seen them on ebay for 600+, so if the price is that good you could pick them up and resale them if you did not like them. From the reviews of the other epic speakers they seem to have good ratings.Patrick
