Thanks Roman,Yes indeed, the tweeters at the same hight with my ears do sound best.
I tried several positions, because they are now on temporary stands, made out of books (don't laugh ;-))Why do You think that the stands should tilt slightly backwards ?
(Maybe because of personal taste?)I am also keeping the possibility in mind about making the stands myself, because of the needed precise height of the stand.
What I would like to know, is what kind of stand suits the Kef the best.
Meaning, a very light one, like used with the Epos or a very heavy one, like a Target R1.
Because when using a very heavy stand, sometimes it takes all of the life out of the music (PRAT)How about spiking the Kef onto a stand made out of aluminum tubes, filed with sand ?
All is going to be used on a concrete floor.
And yes, indeed the Kef's are truly fantastic !!
