Great sound, and the Kevlar woofer will impress the non-audio types. The 602S2 have enough low end to not need a sub in a small room. They have rubber surrounds so foam rot will not be an issue. They both are sensitive enough to not stress the Yamaha.As far as the 600 series go, many say that the as teh series number goes up from the original 600 -> series 2 -> series 3 that the sound gets more refined, but more analytical. That being said, a set of series 1 b&w's (They have a copper ring over the tweeter) may be a good bet as well. The new series 3 will be out of your range.
