These week's Autoweek describes an interesting sound system in the Alfa Brera prototype. It's called Picasound, and, according to the article, has no fixed source speakers and "directly stimulates air molecules to produce sound". The system was developed by ATAO of Luxemburg from French patents. Supposedly only 10 watts is needed for "outstanding" sound performance. I might as well quote briefly:"And we'd be doggone if we could locate a source for the awesome sound pouring forth from everywhere. Kind of freaky, but good freaky."
Hmm.......must be something to it.
