My 626R reminds me many times of horns in their dynamics - they are very fast, dynamic and in-room. These are not great for background music, as they project so much you can't ignore them, even at low volumes. This is in a good, realistic way, not overly aggressive or "noisy". I'm sure the RM40 is similar, and probably even more so.
